Many items are prohibited in international express delivery and are likely to be detained by customs once sent.

Weapons and Ammunition: This includes all types of firearms, imitation weapons, ammunition, and explosives, such as military pistols, imitation toy guns, bullets, grenades, fireworks, and firecrackers. These are strictly prohibited.
Currency and Securities: Coins, banknotes, and various bearer securities, traveler’s checks, and other items from any country cannot be sent via international express delivery.
Animals and Plants and Related Products: According to the “List of Animals and Plants and Their Products and Other Quarantine Items Prohibited from Carrying or Mailing into the People’s Republic of China,” live animals (except dogs and cats), raw or cooked meat and their products, aquatic animal products, animal-derived milk and dairy products, bird’s nests (except commercially sterilized canned bird’s nests), fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, seeds, seedlings, and other animals and plants and their products are prohibited from mailing.
Drugs and Drug-Related Paraphernalia: Opium, morphine, heroin, marijuana, and other addictive narcotics and psychotropic substances, as well as drug paraphernalia, are all prohibited from international express delivery.
Dangerous Goods: Flammable liquids such as lighter fuel and paint, high-pressure gases such as fire extinguishers and helium, combustibles such as matches and lighters, oxidizing substances such as bleach and peroxides, corrosive substances such as mercury and batteries, and radioactive materials are all prohibited from transportation.
Precious metals and valuable items: Precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum, and their products, as well as cultural relics, antiques, artwork, jewelry, and other valuable items, are not accepted by general international couriers.
Infringement and illegal publications: Counterfeit and substandard items that infringe intellectual property rights, as well as all types of illegal publications, printed materials, audio-visual products, and other promotional materials that endanger national security and social stability, are also prohibited from being sent via international couriers.
