A Detailed Explanation of Compliant International Express Shipping

Compliant international express shipping requires the sender to understand and comply with relevant laws and regulations, as well as the courier’s regulations.

In this article, Weefreight will provide detailed information, which we hope will be helpful.

Basic Requirements for Compliant Shipping

Understand the Regulations of the Destination Country: Regulations regarding express parcels vary from country to country. Before shipping, you must fully understand the relevant laws and regulations of the destination country or region, including prohibited items and tariff policies.

Accurately Fill in Declaration Information: All cross-border shipments (except for documents of no commercial value) require a commercial invoice. Accurate and specific information must be provided, such as a detailed description of the goods, value, quantity, and country of origin. The correct HS code (tariff code) must also be provided to ensure that customs can accurately assess duties and taxes.

Choose Appropriate Packaging and Labeling: Choose appropriate packaging materials based on the characteristics of the goods. Ensure that the goods are tightly packed to prevent shaking, and use sufficient filler material to fill the package space. Special items, such as dangerous goods, require specialized labels and containers.
